Returns of purchased equipment

Defective new equipment may be returned for warranty repair/exchange/credit within five (5) days of receipt of shipment.

Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to a repair charge.

New, non-defective equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of receipt of shipment if the equipment is still in new condition with the original manuals, accessories, packing material, and box.

We reserve the right to refuse returns in which the original packaging is missing, accessories are missing, damage or visible signs of use of the item. A restocking fee of up to 10% of the purchase price may apply.

Special orders cannot be returned. International customers must ship any returns to us with freight and taxes prepaid. Return shipping costs for international shipments will be the responsibility of the customer.

A calorimeter is used to measure heat that is gained or lost during a chemical or physical reaction. A sample is taken in an insulated container, and a temperature change is measured. This assists in computing the alterations in energy by the equation Q = mcΔT, where Q is heat.

The gloss meter is used to measure the gloss level: it is a device that directs the light at a fixed angle and reads the intensity of the reflected light. The angles, such as 60°, 20°, or 85°, are applied depending on the type of surface and the range of gloss.

a. Check whether the USB cable is connected. If not, please connect it. Check whether the connection is effective. You can re-plug the USB cable to test.

b. If the USB cable is connected well but the interface still displays "USB Disconnect", please re-start the colorimeter and enter "Menu" -"Comm"to start the communication.

c. Change the USB cable or change the USB port in you PC.

An inappropriate viewing angle may lead to reflections or color shifts in the light. The correct angle of 45 or 0 will provide the real color of the assessment without the distraction of glare.
