Brief Introduction:

YS6002 benchtop color haze meter is developed by 3nh independently with proprietary intellectua property. This machine adopts transmittance optical geometry d/0 (diffused illumination, 0-degree viewing angle) which confirms to CIE 15 standard. It can also realized the the optical geometry 0/0 (parallel illumination, 0-degree viewing angle).

YS6002 color haze meter uses 360~780nm composite full spectrum LED light source (which is closed to the spectrum of D65), and it can realize intervals 10nm spectrum by precision concave grating and 256 Image Element CMOS Sensor. Accordance with industry-standard, YS6002 will give the accuracy result for the measurement of haze, transmittance, chromaticity, color difference, WI, YI, Pt-Co Index and Gardner index etc. It is wildly used in the field of glass processing, plastic processing, film manufacturing, display screen processing and packaging industry, liquid pharmaceutical analysis, laboratory etc.

YS6002 uses a long - life, low - power 360 - 780nm full - spectrum combined LED light source, with a service life of more than 5 years and can be used for more than 3 million measurements. The instrument is also equipped with an independent light source detector and temperature sensor, which can monitor the changes of light source and environment at all times to ensure the reliability of test data, thus contributing to its durability.

FAQs About  Haze Meters

To take care of a haze meter to make it last longer, ensure that it is cleaned, recalibrated regularly, and stored in a dry, dust-free place. 


Ambient light may affect the test results and must therefore be kept to a low level for accurate haze meter results. 


  1. Turn on the hazemeter and check if the instrument’s display screen shows normally and if the buttons are responsive.

  2. Verify that the hazemeter’s battery power is sufficient. Replace the battery or connect an external power supply if necessary.

  3.  Confirm that the instrument’s measurement mode is set correctly. Select the appropriate measurement unit and range based on actual needs.

To extend the life of a haze meter, keep the instrument dust-free and clean, regularly calibrate it, and control for a stable dry storage.
