TS7010 is a new portable spectrocolorimeter with 3nh own core research and development technology. It is the high level colorimeter in spectral architecture. 2. Adopt full waveband balanced LED light source

A colorimeter sends light through a solution and measures the amount that is absorbed. It computes the absorbance by comparing the intensity of light before and after passing through. The greater the concentration of the color, the greater is the absorption of the light. It is also possible to quantify the color of the solution.


A colorimeter is used to measure absorbance at selected wavelengths with the help of filters, which is suitable for rapid comparison of colors. A more advanced spectrophotometer has a monochromator. It can measure a larger range of the spectrum of light and is more accurate. You can also get detailed color data at visible and non-visible wavelengths.


Colorimeters have fixed wavelength filters and LEDs; it is less precise and simpler. Monochromators are applied to spectrophotometers, which scan a spectrum of wavelengths. Giving more detailed spectral information. Spectrophotometers are more sensitive and flexible in complicated analyses.


Record the L*a*b values of the sample and the reference with a calibrated spectrophotometer or colorimeter. Compute the difference in the color by use of ΔE. The lower the Delta E, the more accurate the result. The difference in energy, ΔE < 1, is generally assumed to be invisible to the eye.


The ΔE (Delta E) formula of the CIELAB color space is usually used to measure color difference. The difference is measured in a colorimeter or spectrophotometer to gauge the level of perceptibility of the difference between two samples in terms of L*a*b*.
