When measuring with the multi-functional module, the instrument must be in a lying position.
After confirming that the instrument is properly installed, align the small pressure block with the nut hole of the instrument. Use a wrench to lock in the provided M5 bolt, and tighten both bolts simultaneously.
Open the clamp, insert the cuvette containing the prepared sample to be tested. Release the clamp slowly to make the cuvette fit tightly against the measuring aperture.
Cover with the light shield, and then you can operate the instrument to perform the relevant measurements.

First, perform black and white plate calibration on the colorimeter
Place the colorimeter into the base and tighten the screws to ensure the colorimeter is fixed securely.
Select a sample cup of appropriate capacity based on the characteristics of the sample. Put the sample to be tested into the sample cup, then place the sample cup with the sample into the black cavity. Cover the black cavity with its cover and measure the color data according to the colorimeter's testing method.
After the measurement is completed, take out the sample cup, remove the colorimeter, and store the colorimeter properly.

YS Series Multifunctional Testing Component

It can be used for reflectance color measurement of samples such as high-concentration liquid reagents, pastes (e.g., tomato sauce, coatings), and powders (e.g., coffee).

The YS multi-functional test module must be used in conjunction with the YS series spectrophotometers. Before use, the YS series spectrophotometers should first undergo black and white plate calibration.
The measurement port of the YS series colorimeter should be properly docked with the measurement port of the bracket. At the same time, the pins on the two base baffles should be aligned with the reference holes on the bottom plate of the YS colorimeter. Then, push the push plate against the colorimeter and tighten the screws.
Insert the cuvette containing the sample to be tested into the bracket. Gently push open the rotatable pressure plate and carefully place the cuvette in.
Cover the cover plate to ensure that the interior of the cuvette is in a completely dark environment.
